Codie Hill, 23, Dies Following Early Morning Motorcycle and Truck Collision in Charleston Intersection
Codie Hill, a 23-year-old resident of North Charleston, passed away on April 17, 2026, after a tragic road incident in Charleston.
Authorities confirmed that the incident occurred around 6:42 a.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Clements Ferry Road and Marina Drive.
Investigators reported that Hill was riding a motorcycle when it came into contact with a tractor-trailer, and officials continue to review the circumstances surrounding the event.
Emergency responders transported Hill to the Medical University of South Carolina for urgent care.
Despite medical efforts, Hill was pronounced deceased at 7:24 a.m., according to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.
